Really Nice place. A Little bit far from the city center but it’s not an issue since it’s well deserved by bus. Beds are great and hosts are really nice.

Not quite worth the money

Great location and very nice staff. But the room was uncomfortable. Boiling hot, dark and with an uncomfortable bed. Also very noisy as footsteps reverberate around the room.
It did the job but for the price I have to admit I expected a lot better. I probably paid fifty pounds too much compared to other experiences.

Lovely hotel and great location

Great location for visiting the zoo. On street parking around the hotel was available, but might be busy in high summer. Hotel was clean, tidy and smelt lovely. We received a warm welcome and check in. The lay out of the hotel being two hotels linked together was a little maze like. But the character of the beautiful old house was still evident. The final flight of stairs up to room 12 were a little steep after a day walking around. The room itself was clean and tidy and bed comfortable. We had a great nights sleep. All the staff we spoke to were lovely and a credit to the hotel.

Room was great ,it was just to sleep for the night. Stuff was friendly, room was welcoming and we had towels changed every 2 days.,bed was done as well and had a clean room.We had two towels each. Pillows and mattress were comfy enough . I highly recommend it

Accommodation Convenient to Airport

Corstorphine Lodge is conveniently located on the St. John’s Road (within about 15 minutes from airport) with bus stops for the Airport Airlinks and local Lothian buses a few minutes walk away. Last year had a very nice room on the ground floor. This year my room was on the first floor. Large room and clean, but en-suite bath awkward. Very small sink in a corner in front of the shower. Could not bend to use the sink unless I stood sideways. Breakfast optional at extra cost. On-site parking provided but small. Proprietors very friendly and helpful but not sure about staying again.
